Balancing the worlds of robust wear and refined styling, the new 890 features a 42.6mm octagonal stainless steel case alongside the best of Citizen's finishing techniques. With its integrated, tapering steel bracelet and double set of crowns, the watch is ready for wear in any instance. Underneath a sapphire crystal, a textured dial inspired by sakura flower, or Japanese cherry blossoms, draws your attention. A bi-directional rotating inner dive bezel adds contrast and practicality alongside other dark details, with the whole highly-legible dial playing wonderfully in the light. A 3 o'clock date window adds even more utility to the design, while the automatic mechanism which powers it secures the timepiece against strong magnetic fields. Water resistant to 200 metres. Underneath a sapphire crystal, a textured blue dial with a rotating inner dive bezel is as captivating as it is practical, playing in the light while being highly legible on account of its applied indices and the smart design of its hands. A 3 o'clock date window adds even more utility to the design, while the hand-assembled automatic mechanism, with an accuracy of +20 / -10 seconds per day, powers it and secures the timepiece against strong magnetic fields. Water resistant to 100m and able to withstand magnetic fields up to 16,000 A/m, the watch is powered by the high-performance Caliber 9054, with the mechanism allowing for local and travel time displays alongside an independently set hour hand. The automatic GMT movement is visible through a sapphire exhibition case back and is capable of maintaining an accuracy of +20 / -10 seconds per day with a frequency of 28,800 v/h and a power reserve of 50 hours.

A tapered, integrated silver-tone stainless steel H-link bracelet secures the watch to the wrist, with its design following the aesthetic of the case via the use of polished and brushed facets.
